2007 Poker Run Banner

This poker run was different than the first. This time, we did an actual 4 county run. We started here at the VFW. Thanks to the Women's Auxiliary for supplying the donuts and drinks! They are great and this is the banner they hung on the building!

The first riders

These Sebring residents, Reo & Cheryl Oblisk,  were the first to arrive and register for the Poker Run! Both rode and it was really cool!

Meet Eleanor Salter

I am pictured here with Eleanor Salter of Rogers, Ohio. Eleanor's daughter, Catherine Salter, died in the second tower at the World Trade Center on 9/11. She presented me with this Flag of Honor that lists all the lives lost that day. Thanks Eleanor. I'm so glad to have met you.

Amazing Items

My aunt Rose, who helped with the poker run, and my mom are looking at items Eleanor Salter recieved of her daughter Catherine's that were found in the rubble of the World Trade Center.

Remembrance Book

Sebring Mayor John Smith and my mom look at a remembrance book brought by Eleanor Salter to the Poker Run registration.

Poker Run Riders

More riders who showed their support! While the majority of people showed up in biker gear, this couple showed off their patriotic spirit!

The McVickers

Irma and Mark McVicker didn't ride in the poker run, but they were there to support me and my efforts and to honor and remember their son Danny. Irma helped with registration and getting food and Mark kept everyone amused and sold 50/50 tickets. Thanks guys for everything you do for me!

My other mom

Irma always supports me. She is great! I'm glad I met her and Mark. She also is the one who took most of the photos on this page. She always has a camera with her!

My Dad

This is my dad and his friends at the Poker Run. He loves to ride his Harley.

More Riders

More riders registering at the Poker Run. Some came from as far as Kentucky and New York! Thanks for your support.

My Cool Ride

Here I am in the side car! My mom's friend, Bobbi Jo Fonner and her friend, Mitch Davis, allowed me to ride in the side car for the poker run! It was an awesome ride! Thanks guys!

Jesse Galchick

I'm shown here dancing with my friend Kim Flowers as Nashville Star Winner Jesse Galchick sings at Mango's Club following the Poker Run! Jesse is 13 years old and lives in Beloit. She will release her first CD soon. Check out her website http://www.jessegalchick.com
