Scribing for Soldiers
Incorporated in the 2007 Freedom Walk was "Scribing for Soldiers". I was approached by the Volunteer Service Agency of Youngstown and was asked to help them launch a letter writing campaign. This is of me carrying in a box of postcards my friends from the Pentagon supplied. The USO came to St. Ann's Church in Sebring to pick them up to send to troops overseas.
Microsoft Award
I was given this certificate and this really cool Zune! If you don't have one, you should get one they're awesome! This was for being nominated for Microsoft's Above and Beyond Award. Thanks to all who voted for me!
Treats for the Troops
5 years later, he's still going at it
Colton started a campaign called
"Treats for the Troops". He got a list of items the soldiers needed form the American Legion, made a flyer, talked to his principal and launched it in the Jackson-Milton School district. The drive ran for 4 weeks and 6 boxes were filled.
